A legal disclaimer

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through Bouna Hair. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General

Bouna Hair is an online store offering hair extensions and styling products. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.

2. Products & Availability

We do our best to display our products as accurately as possible. Please note that slight variations in colour, texture, length, or finish may occur due to the natural characteristics of hair and screen settings.

All products are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable or delayed, we will inform you as soon as possible.

3. Orders & Acceptance

Orders are placed through our website or approved sales channels. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or incorrect information.

An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs and any applicable fees are displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been placed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to availability, carrier delays, customs, or external circumstances.

We are not responsible for delays beyond our control. International orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

6. Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, hair extensions and related products are final sale, unless otherwise stated in our Refund & Return Policy.

Returns are only accepted in specific cases and must meet all conditions outlined in our Refund Policy. Used, altered, or customised products cannot be returned.

7. Product Use & Care

Customers are responsible for using products according to the provided instructions. Improper use, incorrect installation, or treatments such as coloring, bleaching, or chemical processing will void any warranty or claim.

We are not responsible for results caused by third-party treatments or personal handling of the products.

8. Quality & Natural Variations

We strive to deliver the highest quality hair products. As our products are made from natural donor hair, slight variations may occur. These natural differences do not qualify as defects.

9. Liability

Bouna Hair is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profit or dissatisfaction resulting from incorrect product selection or improper use.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the product, except where otherwise required by law.

10. Allergic Reactions

We are not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities. Customers are advised to perform a patch test before use.

Donor hair may have undergone prior treatments for hygiene and safety purposes.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and designs, is the property of Bouna Hair and may not be copied or used without written permission.

12. Fraud & Misuse

Fraudulent behaviour, including returning altered products or items not purchased from us, will result in refusal of returns, possible legal action, and permanent exclusion from future purchases.

13. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
